Christmas 2014

Perfect.

We stayed in little ol' Rexburg for Christmas this year. It was nice to have our first Christmas with just the 3 of us.

Maverick loves playing with his magnetic nativity scene Gigi got him last year for Christmas. Lehi and I thought it was funny that regardless of how we arranged the scene, Maverick always grabbed baby Jesus first. Needless-to-say that particular magnet is a little wilty due to slobber. We were amazed that he always focused in of Jesus, regardless of where He was placed.

We took a family selfie for our Christmas cards, placing the camera strategical on the couch, on top of a few books, and slightly leaning back. After many, many attempts, we gave up and went with the best one we got.

Maverick really liked to pull all my ornaments off the tree and eat them. By the time Christmas rolled around, the bottom foot of my tree was bare.
One of his favorites

Ornament pick-pocket.

On Christmas Eve, Lehi read the Christmas story from Luke and Maverick opened his first present from Papi and Gigi.

We woke up in the late morning (when Maverick did) and set him outside his bedroom door and let him crawl out to the tree.

Naturally he goes for the already opened gift

While opening presents, we realized how blessed we are and how spoiled we are by our family.

White Christmas

That evening, we went to Taylor and Rachel's house for a Christmas dinner and snuggle time with Hudson. Lehi was a punk, as usual, and dubbed it an "ok" dinner. I thought it was fantastic. Maverick wore himself out in their jumper. That kid got a few inches of air under his feet. After about 20 minutes, he was worn out. It was awesome.
