Pool Day 

Lehi doesn't get to go to the pool very often with the boys, so we planned a day to go as a family. Maverick is still scared of the water, mostly because he hates water in his face. He is perfectly content playing in the kiddie area with Lincoln and wants nothing to do with the big pool. We tried to take breaks and take him into the real pool every once-in-awhile to get him a little more comfortable with it. I honestly think Lincoln does better though. It is a work in progress. But it was sure fun to have Lehi with us.

Birthday Bash 

This year's birthday celebration was pretty darn epic. Tasha spoiled me rotten as usual with shopping and Carlos Bakery with kiddos in the morning. Then she tells me to go to her house and bring the kids later that afternoon, I walked into her house to find a babysitter for all the kids so Tasha and I could go get our birthday pedicures. But along the way, we stopped at a bakery for ice cream cookies, of course. The pedicures were awesome. I went home to meet Lehi while Tasha took over watching my children. He surprised me with macaroons from the amazing Lisa Hansen and brought me to Eddie V's restaurant. This place was so fancy. Our table had rose petals and a birthday card waiting for me. We took our time with dinner and ate our hearts out. I had the best salmon and calamari I have eve tasted. Dessert came out with a Happy Birthday chocolate sauce writing on the plate, complete with a candle in the middle. Everything was perfect--the atmosphere, service, and food. Well done, Lehi sir!

Father's Day

Lehi wanted to keep Father's Day pretty low key, so that is what we did. Nice simple steak & potatoes dinner & fun cards from the boys. The one Maverick made in primary was pretty awesome. He pointed out all of the stickers he had put in the card, with extra emphasis on the Batman one.
