Witty Professor

In my labs we have a "Question of the Day." The students came up with the questions--ranging from "Who is your favorite super-hero" to "Do you sing in the shower."

Why: In the Exercise Physiology Labs you have to be very comfortable with each other. We watch you run on the treadmill, pinch your fat, ask for your weight and height, ect. It is important for students to get to know each other and to have a "safe" learning environment.

A question is randomly drawn at the beginning of each class, answered by each student, and used for attendance.

Today's question:
"What time period/event do you wish you weer born during and why?"

A student's response: The time of Adam and Eve because all you would have to do is eat and work, everything was perfect. You would just have to worry about your crazy brother trying to kill the other one."

I very casually added, "That and you get to marry your sister..."

Lots of laughs in that lab! I LOVE teaching!
